I've seen people offer PC optimization for higher fps, but I'd like to learn how to really optimize myself (with the help of the TTG community).

A few months back I built my first Small form factor build. Here are the Specs:

GPU: MSI 3080Ti Gaming x Trio
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5950x
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 4600 C14
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2Tb

All of the other components don't really play into the optimization so there isn't really a point in me listing them unless we want to delve into heat soak and what not. If anyone is interested I can include a thorough list, though.

I haven't had heat issues thus far, just not really what I was expecting as far as performance when gaming.

Any suggestions on where I should start/look into would be awesome.

Enable advanced Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) and set max CPU boost clock override (Auto OC) to +200 MHz.

Max the power limit in your GPU tweak tool of choice.

New hardware does a good job overclocking to its thermal limit with no tweaking. These settings increase the limits. Expect no improvement if you're limited by cooling.
