Hi TTG community, it's been a long time since I've posted here. I have some exciting news to share for those who have modded Xbox 360s: it is now possible to use larger USB storage, all the way up to 16 TB. The current limit is 2 TB, and you are now able to blow past that with new xeBuild patches.

Read more and download here

Enjoy!

This is awesome news. But I'm a tech noob, so is there some sort of guide to how I can achieve this. I tried a Seagate 4TB previously as an internal drive only to find out only 2TB was supported. I like the Seagate range, so as far as you know are they all supported?

Thanks!

TG.

If you can connect it via USB, you can now use all 4 TB. It should work fine.

How did you mod your console? Did you flash your nand using J-Runner, etc or did someone else do it for you? Everyone does it a little differently, so there is no catch-all tutorial.

Ah, I got my E RGH converted by Console Wizard (UK). Is this something I can do without a computer as I only have access to an Android for downloads etc. Could a 4TB without the enclosure now work internally?

Maybe he could build the new nand for you, and then you could FTP it to your console using some Android FTP application. And then use Flash360 to flash the nand. I would contact him to see what he can do to help. But you would still need a computer to actually format the USB...

No, 2 TB is still the limit for internal drives. That limit may be possible to overcome as well, but it's more difficult.
