So I'm looking to buy myself a desktop computer, not for gaming really but something with an intel i5 with 8-16GB of ram. Would that support any games or do you need a actual computer built for gaming? And are the specs I listed decent or will it be slow, not looking to get something that's laggy. Also I'm only curious because if the PC I'm getting is capable for games then I'd probably play.

this is confusing as heck. you want a pc, "not for gaming really" then you wanna know if it'll run any games or if you'd need a computer that can run games.

What is your budget, max total you'd like to spend on a computer, (what currency)
what is your goal for this computer?

What is your budget and currency?
What will you use the PC for?
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using?
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals?
Do you need an operating system?
Will you overclock?
Anything else we should know?
