Hello, I know I'm going to get people say "ask your dr not a game website" but I know there answer Already

In the uk you get zapain (cocodamol) 30/500MG. It's a strong pain relief I currently take after a car accident I had

Anyway New Years is coming up,

My question is I'm not willing to mix as that's stupid

And the doctors would say leave 24 hours or something I mean everybody takes a paracetamol even iburfen with alcohol together and the doctors would say no

But if I took 2 tablets then celebrated New Years and had some alcohol say 7 hours later, do you think it would be harmful???

I would never take them then drink straight away, I'd want to leave some gap...

Also I know certain people and I think it's known anyway some people take them with alcohol and some even sniff them with it for some sort of high, but do you think leaving a6-7 hour gap would be 100% safe or not ??

Just curious I know it's random I wonder if anybody has experience the two together etc etc

Thanks you guys

I'll admit it's a bit of odd context for this site when you mention insufflation and getting high..

But realistically you should be fine. Mixing pills and any kind of booze is never suggested or recommended, but in the amounts you're speaking of you won't die.

It could provide damage to your liver which if done consistently could see failure in those organs, but, in my honest opinion if you're going to drink a lot.. I'd skip the pill dosage for that day, if you're concerned about it. If the pain is unbearable and you must take them, but also won't hold back from drinking for sure, you won't die like I said.

Just don't make it a habit of mixing these things, or, if it really concerns you that much.. decide which one is more important for this occasion and don't combine them.

As far as "can I take these and drink this amount of time later," it realistically would take that Tylenol and codone at least 16 hours to work it's way out of your system.

The half life for "cocodamol" is 1-4hrs meaning the drug is half out of your system in that time.

Take it 8hrs before hand and it should basically be gone and at that point you should be good to drink, these warnings aren't for people who take prescriptions normally and drink here and there it's mostly a warning to addicts.

People who slam a 5th and pop 4 Percs are who is at a major risk, not to say there isn't a risk but the risk is very minimal.

I know it was weird and I apologise I just wanted a collective opinion that's literslly all I apologise.

And I don't wanna take them to get "high"

But my car accident was recent and even tho I'm fit iam still in pain and before people say stay in etc etc, I've been locked inside with covid like the world, it's New Years and I wanna make it special you know, I wanna have a party, drinks with my pals etc etc

But I wanna be super careful, so if I take 2 tablets 30/500mg at 12 then start drinking at 6/7 you think it would be more than ok????

Like I said that's the correct dosage, no overdosing

I know people that crush and sniff it while drinking same time; but that's them!

Thanks again guys I appreciate it

I do plan on getting drunk and letting my hair down for the evening as I've not done it since before first lock down

I don't want to skip it as I'm cutting down majorly for a drink anyway (sounds like I'm addicted to them) but I've only just started to take them and get on top of my pain, I'm taking them every 6 hours right now, but I'm gonna skip quite alot and just take the 2 before bed what ever time that is, then take some mid day then drink at the evening

As long as everybody thinks this ok I know every body reacts different but surely I'm WELL within the dosage rights, not taking them actually together and most certainly not making habit of it

Just needed opinions

One last thing if anybody can help

IMMODIUM!!!

Prior to any medication

When ever I took and I mean a sip, like a mouthful of any alcohol it caused my stomach to upset, slight pain nothing major and of course need the toilet. Strange I know

I was recommend to take a immodium before I drink to settle my stomach

Is that safe? Would this work?

This is a lot of potential medication that you're taking and no one here is going to have the best answer, you're here more than likely to get a genuine human response not a Doctors response and that's understandable however I will say no one here is going to say that it's "okay" it's not bad either though you're just trying to have fun and blend in which is understandable.

I would limit taking as much medication as possible, if you feel good and possibly don't need it period that's the best thing.

As I stated in my above comment you should be okay and these warnings aren't directed too people being careful.

In my honest opinion you should be okay but I'm not a doctor and I'm not recommending it to be clear.

Take your 2 pills at midday

Start drinking at 8pm, but slowly

Wait until around 10pm and drink slightly faster with the alcohol
