I have just pre-ordered an i9 11900K.
I want to make sure I get a motherboard that will have enough PCIe slots and at the right speeds. The board also needs to have at least 8 USB ports. 4 of those USB ports need to be USB 3. Can somebody please recommend an Asus or Gigabyte Z590 motherboard for about £300 ($415) - £400 ($556). This is going to be my build. CPU - i9-11900K Sound card - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 (this sound card has a motherboard and daughterboard and needs 2 PCIe slots) Graphics card - RTX 3080 SSD - PCIe 4.0 NVMe - WD Black SN850 2TB M.2 Memory - Crucial Ballistix MAX 2 x 16GB 4000MHz. |

I mean, you've already narrowed it down to about 10 motherboards anyway.
Just pick whichever of these has the features you need and is most appealing to you(either price or aesthetics); uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/moth...ce&f=2 Personally, I'd probably go with a Strix but I've not actually looked at any reviews/breakdowns of Z590 motherboards so I can't speak on quality unfortunately. |
