Hi folks, new here! Built my first hard tube a couple years ago, seems to be chugging along just fine.
Wife is impressed with it, and wants me to build her one. Her ideas are...Harry Potter/Gryffindor. She seems to be liking a couple ideas I've pitched so far. -Case painted/detailed to look like a gryffindor suitcase (faded crimson leather appearance with gold trim, emblem details), tubing and fittings matching gryffindor color theme. -Glass panel etched with deathly hallows symbol -lighting effect inside case to look like flickering candle light. I think I got the first two figured out, but the third one is a bit challenge. i have very little experience in messing with lighting. i imagine there may be some LED controller and LED light strip combo that could make this work, but i'm just not even sure where to start. if i try searching "flame effect LED", i get full size bulbs, like what you'd use in a home. anyone have ideas on this?? thank you! |
