I currently have an older (about 9 years old) Thermaltake mid-tower and when my Ice Giant Cooler arrived, my fears about it not fitting were realized. It's only BARELY doesn't fit but enough that it's not going to happen. I don't want to mod the case to make it fit because I'll eventually end up using this case for a secondary system.
I was wondering if anyone has already built something with the Ice Giant cooler and what case worked for you. I have the Gigabyte Aorus Elite x570 Wifi board. I don't care if it's a full size or mid case so long as that massive thing fits. NOTE: I will eventually be using the Ice Giant in a Threadripper build so ideally the new case will be able to house both the current system and the new one to come in a year or two.
