I know reading the topic title may make you think "how could anything positive possibly come out of this?" But hear me out!

There's no denying that COVID has ruined near enough everything about 2020 but personally one positive thing has come out of it for me, I have rediscovered my passion for gaming, I've been playing COD quite a lot and even revising my old favourites such as destroy all humans.

If anything positive has come out of this for you, what is it?

I think video games overall are amazing for escapism it's one of the few hobbies you can have where your mind is totally switched to just that focus for that time any problems in the world are for that moment pushed aside and I think that's why many people are enjoying it again.

Over here in the UK an Oxford study has found that gaming can improve mental health and with the world where it is right now where most people are stuck inside it gives them people to speak to, goals to finish and worlds to explore

Video games have been an amazing escape for me, it's been tough living in the north west of England because we're always in tier 3, playing, but being able to play online with my friends has been awesome since we've all been on furlough

Video games helped me loads when growing up, it was my escape and got me through a tough time at school.
