GTX 1650 Super, or if you want something more powerful, a GTX 1660 Super.
Those are really the only 2 new GPU's I'd be considering with a sub $300 budget.

If you're comfortable buying used, a GTX 970 or RX 470/570/480/580 will be very easy to find under $100 and will perform adequately, about on par with a 1650 Super.

Gigabyte or MSI what? They both have several different cooler designs for both the 1650 Super, and 1660 Super.

It doesn't really matter anyway, they'll all perform pretty much the same. So just buy whichever is cheapest that you like the look of best.

Thanks for the help i think i am gonna pick up a MSI 1660 gtx gaming x for $269. Was debating in getting an MSI 5500xt 8gb for $209 but i think for the extra $60 the 1600 is the better eay to go?
