So I am looking to start a YouTube channel. What I need help with right now is mostly around equipment. I am looking around locally in shops to get a Blue Yeti Microphone. I plan to use OBS for my recording & voice overs and I also have Audacity for recording audio as well.

I was wondering as far as recording audio and stuff for my gameplay to do my voice overs if this is a good plan?

I am looking for a way also to record xbox 1 game play. I have a few games but they do not have theater mode and I dont like recording only up to 2 minutes. Id rather do one whole clip as a video.

I am looking to get this all together so I can start making my videos asap. I am in desperate need of help and advice on what other things I may need or will help for this. I am very eager.

As far as the Xbox gameplay and audio goes I'd definitely try out an elgato. That's what I used a few months ago and it was amazing. You can also edit through the elgato software itself. I believe it's the elgato hd60s
