The controller shape / design is perfect, grip and paddle support is a massive benefit. They just need to be able to reduce stick drift with their design and the controller will be unmatched, because from my personal experience Xbox controllers are extremely prone to stick drift.

This is such a good point. I can say personally I've had probably 15+ Xbox controller lmao. Many of them did suffer from stick drift. Some instantly after purchase, and others that started drifting over time. It's probably one of the most annoying things to play with haha.

With different versions and such for each game. I'm hoping base games like assassins creed stay at 60$ for next gen and the other versions can fly however high they want

I'm thinking the same thing. Guessing the price will stay $60 on the games.

Microsoft is confirming today that its Xbox Series X console won't support the existing Kinect accessory or the Xbox One games that are built specifically for Kinect. In a blog post laying out Microsoft's commitments for its upcoming Xbox Series X console, Xbox chief Phil Spencer reveals Kinect games won't be supported.

It's our intent for all Xbox One games that do not require Kinect to play on Xbox Series X at the launch of the console," says Spencer. "And because of the unprecedented power of Xbox Series X, most of your favorite games will load faster and look and perform many times better on the new console."

Microsoft has previously been clear about supporting existing Xbox One games, including backward-compatible Xbox 360 and original Xbox games on the Xbox Series X. The lack of Kinect support is new, though. "There's no way for Kinect to work," confirms Spencer in an interview with The Verge. The rear of the Xbox Series X, just like the Xbox One X, does not include a dedicated Kinect port, and Microsoft won't be supporting the USB Kinect Adapter it discontinued back in 2018 after killing off the Kinect in 2017.

Good the Kinect was epic tech wise but for gaming it just upped the price of the console for something that will hardly be used.

Microsoft at the time looked at the Nintendo Wii and knew they could do better and they did but that did not mean people wanted it the whole thing with the Wii fell off quick once you had a few games.

I agree the connect was a bit expensive but it was awesome and fun. I also agree that they did way better than Wii.

TastyCereal wrote Holy **** the controller looks so good! I am a big fan. Looks very ergonomic to me. Like something that is meant for a human being's hands.

They seem to put a lot of good grip on it And the look. It looks super great.
