I am looking for suggestions on upgrades to the following system. I have had a few problems lately and am wondering if the ram would be suitable for a new build etc.

i7-6700 cpu stock cooler
Asus H170 gamin pro motherboard
4x8 = 32gb ram G.Skill V series 2400 DDR4
1tb Samsung Evo850 SSD
1 TB Sabrent Rocket NVMe PCIe Internal SSD
Corsair rm650x psu
Alienware AW3418DW monitor 3440 x 1440
Asus RTX2070 gpu

I am hoping to find out if it is worthwhile to upgrade a component at a time or if I would be better off waiting until I can do a complete rebuild.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for your interest and sorry for the delay in replying.

My pc was originally freezing on COD Modern Warfare and other graphic intensive games etc.

I sent my PGU in for repair but then my pc was having issues where it wouldn't post etc. went through a bunch of issues and couldn't reload windows . I took a ssd and managed to load windows on it and got everything running when my video card was returned.

I spent hours loading and reloading windows as well as resetting all components. I used a XFX R9 290 video card while I was waiting for my other card to be repaired and I think it is toast. This just added to the confusion. When I have time I am going to check out the R9 290 as it has a lifetime warranty.

Still going to upgrade in time but will use what I have for now.
