Specs as follows

H97M-G43 Msi Motherboard
TSXFX 450 watt psu
I5 4460 3.2ghz cpu with aftermarket CPU cooler
ATX Radeon RX580 8GB
HyperX fury 2x4gb ram
500GB hdd
128GB SSD
Micro atx fractal design core 1000 mini tower

Looking to upgrade to a bigger motherboard as the GPU just came in today and kind of touches the clips that hold the RAM in, it works but its time for a bigger mobo and case I reckon.

Is it possible for around 200-250GBP to get a new Mobo, case, PSU and 16GB of RAM?

Would the CPU need upgraded first since its a mobo for a 4th gen intel chip and newer boards would only support newer chipsets?

Not sure where to start as my PC runs most games I like fine but still struggling with CoD warzone probs due to RAM and CPU.

Anyways I have everything I need just need advice on what I would need for a more up to date build but re-using most bits I have. Any advice would be appreciated even if it is to tell me to save more money first!

The CPU wouldn't need upgraded if you bought a compatible motherboard. You won't get an LGA1150 mobo new any more though, so you'd have to buy a used one. If you're buying a new motherboard and RAM anyway, then yeah you're going to need a new CPU.

GPU upgrade to an RX 580 from a GTX 750Ti should have been a pretty substantial difference in performance. Yes though, a CPU upgrade could probably help at this point.

For £250, you could do this;

Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£68.72 @ CCL Computers)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory (£80.40 @ Ebuyer)
Total: £249.11

Gets you on to the AM4 platform which has plenty of upgrade potential. You won't get a case upgrade as well as CPU/Mobo/RAM with your budget though.

If possible, I would probably recommend waiting for now. Save another 100 quid and wait for B550 motherboards to come out next month. Then do case upgrade at the same time(£60-80 will get you something nice), and get a nicer/better B450/B550 motherboard- R3 3100, 16GB 3600MHz RAM and a better mobo will be about £280ish.
