You know where that money's coming from.

Anywho:

What is your budget and currency? $1,200, USD.
What will you use the PC for? Gaming and college work.
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? I need a monitor.
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? I need a keyboard and mouse.
Do you need an operating system? Yes, I do.

If there's any slight upgrade that would benefit me in the long run, I may throw in a bit more money. Thanks in advance.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($174.99 @ B&H)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Patriot Viper 4 Blackout 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($109.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB MECH OC Video Card ($383.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300A Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case ($60.00)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($94.99 @ B&H)
Monitor: ViewSonic VX2458-C-MHD 23.6" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor ($159.99 @ B&H)
Total: $1168.92

The Phanteks P300A will be $50-60, it's just apparently out of stock right now. If you can't/don't want to wait for stock of the P300A, then a P400A, or Cooler Master NR600 for $70ish would also be a good choice. Or, you could grab a Fractal Meshify C for $100 but it isn't really worth $30 more than the P400A/NR600 IMO.

Grab any $20-30 kb+mouse combo for now, easy enough to upgrade those later. Add whatever capacity HDD you want/need, again this is also easy to add/upgrade later.

Went to my friends house yesterday to build almost the same setup (Case, GPU, and powersupply) And hasn't had any issues games run flawlessly for him.

Thoughts on the case? P300A is a silly good quality case for the price IMO, really solid little case.

Yeah he literally hasn't got off it since I was at his house yesterday and it's quite an experience trying to teach him how to use discord. He's been grinding siege non stop. But his GPU was the an rtx 2070 and a 750 watt power supply. Not sure about the case I had never heard of it.
