Looking for a new desktop system between £350-£450 my current build is below but died earlier today ,out of the loop on current builds but looking for something a bit better than i have and something i can upgrade in the future, Need it to be able to run the new xcom chimera squad and warhammer total war 2 and phoenix point. I would most likely upgrade later so entry level is fine as long as it can cope with my games.
I've looked at a lot of parts the problem i have is with Covid 19 buying all the parts from different people means i will be delayed so if there are any all in one builds in the UK id definitely prefer that.

CPU AMD FX-6300
RAM 12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)
MotherboardGigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. 970A-DS3 (CPU 1)
Graphics 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (ATI AIB)
Storage 298GB ssd

Well, what exactly died? Surely not every single component is done. It would be useful if we knew what components you have that are still working, in case some of them can be re-used. PSU for example, if that's still working, what is the make and model? What is the make and model of your case also?

If you're building an entirely new system, then I'd definitely recommend grabbing a couple of used parts to save a decent chunk of cash.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor (£45.00)
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£70.47 @ Scan.co.uk)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (£74.98 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Crucial BX500 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£56.97 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 4 GB GAMING MI Video Card (£75.00)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P300A Mesh ATX Mid Tower Case (£57.95 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: EVGA GD (2019) 500 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (£55.47 @ Scan.co.uk)
Total: £435.84

So I'd grab the CPU + GPU used. You'll be able to get an R3 1200 or 1300x for £40-45 pretty easily. RX 470/570 and 480/580's are plentiful on the used market, you'll easily find one in the £70-85 range.

You could grab a cheapo case if you want to save £20-25 pretty easily. You could also save 30 quid by dropping to 8GB RAM instead of 16GB if you really want.
