Hello I'm wondering if I could use this with my motherboard


Current Motherboard: PRIME H270-PRO


I want to upgrade my CPU I currently have i5 7400 but want to upgrade to I5-9600K is this possible

No, 9600k is not compatible.

Your best CPU upgrade wirh your current motherboard is an i7-6700 or i7-7700, non-K.

No. The same way an i5-9600k is not compatible with your motherboard- your CPU is not compatible with a newer motherboard(Z370/Z390).
