So I've been thinking of treating myself to something lately but unsure what to purchase; my main thought has been getting the full Valve Index kit but they are out of stock everywhere.

I'm pretty happy with my current set up, I don't struggle to run any game at max settings; I don't need additional storage; etc.
Just looking for ideas on what to splash some cash on.

For reference, here is my build/peripherals

I also have a GT Omega chair and a ModMic 5 (I think) but can't add custom parts so -.-

Valve index isn't worth the money. Buy Oculus Rift S or wait for next gen VR.

Also save your money. No need to spend it now.

Why do you say this? I've been having a look around reviews for VR gear and I've seen the most positive stuff when regarding the Valve Index.

You could always buy a wireless charger (that mounts under your desk) if you have wireless charging, or purchase a charging mouse pad. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Not a bad idea but I bought a headphone stand which has several USB ports (I use for charging my headphones mainly. Sadly the mouse is not wireless so wouldn't benefit from a wireless charger.
I do remember looking at the Logitech G903 or whatever the wireless one is and the charging mouse pad though.

You could also benefit from it if your phone supports it, i mean wireless is not as fast as a wall charger. But just placing your phone or other accessories and let them charge without thinking would be easier and beneficial.

Because it cost $1000 compared to any competition. The only other headset near it's price range is the new HTC Vive, which sucks. If you want to pay the price be my guest I'm sure it's a great headset. But I've been very happy with my Oculus Rift S which is 1/3 the price.

Well, to be fair on the comparison, it's not the headset that costs $1000, it's the headset, controllers and 2 base stations. The headset itself is $600 or so.
