Any advice would be appreciated.
I purchased a PC (From a large company) costing over £4500 it came with a 3 year warranty. 1st year onsite and years 2/3 RTB.
I am now in my 3rd year and one of the case fans have become faulty.
I emailed the company and sent a short video of the faulty fan. They agreed it was faulty and because it was under warranty they would replace the fan. BUT I have to install the fan myself.
I have had a look at the cabling etc and it looks like a big job. The fan is one of 3 on a h100i radiator.
Because its just a fan are they right to say I have to install the fan myself.
Or should I ask because it's under warranty for it to be returned to them and they fit the fan properly by experts?.

It's a 2-3 minute job at best. It's 4 screws and a connector, you'd have to be raving mad to send the machine back to fix that in my opinon.

It's really not.

Wait, what? Why do you have 3 fans on an H100i? Also, how?

I honestly doubt they're saying you "have" to install it yourself. It's easier for them, AND for you to install it yourself. Swap a fan in < 2/3 minutes, or spend 7+ days returning the entire system for a replacement fan? I think if you really don't want to do it yourself, they'd take it back and do it for you, but I've never bought a pre-built so I couldn't tell you for sure.
