Russia because it's my home country so complete bias there.
Cold, biggest reason, hate the heat with a passion, would rather be freezing my nuts off in -48c in my hometown than I would be sitting in 19c. Alcoholics are always great to be around, the stupid shit we do is always great humour. No one really gives a shit in that country, which causes people to get an inflated ego which falls right back into doing stupid shit. Most males are just itching for a fight for the slightest reason so having to be ready in case you're the poor bastard that looked at someone wrong is a "great" little experience. If you have the money, Russia is like America 2.0 in terms of guns and activities like that. Easily can find someone out on the country with old WW2/Cold War era LMGs or even some sort of restored tank they'll let you just go piss about with. You'll always find some sketchy dude somewhere who has some sort of thrill seeking adventure that usually is a 50/50 if something is going to go wrong such as sky bungee out of some prop plane that you're pretty sure is on it's last leg. On top of thrill seeking, there is so many abandoned missile silos you can just go explore if you're up for that. Kind of like urban exploration, just instead of like old hospitals or apartment blocks, it's missile silos that can be god knows how deep underground or how long they are, so you know, really get into that little adrenaline thrill for whenever some little noise starts happening if you're like 10 flights of stairs down in pitch dark. Hunting out there is fantastic, bear, lynx, maral moose, deer, boar, sheep, absolute great pieces of meat, wish America would take the import sanctions off so I can have some of that meat shipped to me without having to pay such a stupid price to have it shipped to Ukraine then over here. Now if we're talking about favourite country for "normal reasons" then the Czech Republic. Beautiful scenery and the food, shit dude, I could get fat off the food easily if I wanted to, especially if you're a meat eater. Czech Republic is the middle ground for Slavic, Scandinavian and central Europe like German foods. You'll see a lot of inspirations or adaptations on foods from like Poland, Sweden, German and even a little from Italy. Czech gets all 4 seasons so you have free room to choose when you want to go for your experience and traveling inside the country is actually so easy, less of a headache. Czechs - especially within in Prague - usually take English as their mandatory second language in school, so if you don't know Czech or understand how the Slavic language works too well, you'll for the most part be able to get through pretty easy for communicating with others. |
