Is it safe to use a 6 to 8 PCI adaptor. My PSU has 2 8 pin connectors and my GPU has a 6 and an 8 pin connector. Are there any alternatives to buying a different PSU?

| You don't need any adapters. That PSU should have 2 x 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. So use a 6-pin for the 6-pin on the GPU, and then a 6+2-pin for the 8-pin connector on the GPU. |
