CPU - R3 1200 - £47.00
Mobo - AsRock B450M Pro4-F - £61.99 RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3000MHz - £61.48 SSD - 480GB Crucial BX500 - £46.43 GPU - Asus Dual RX 580 4GB - £124.98 Case - Deepcool Matrexx 30 - £21.60 PSU - Corsair CX450M - £51.97 Total - £415.45 You can't really expect much from the case for 20 quid, but it's actually pretty decent for what you pay. Cable management will be a nightmare, but the semi-modular PSU will definitely help drastically with that. CPU's pretty low-end, I imagine a 4C/4T CPU is going to start to become more of a headache. Luckily with a decent AM4 motherboard, you've got plenty of CPU upgrade options. If you really wanted, you could get the system a little closer to £400 by swapping the RX 580 for an 8GB RX 570; XFX XXX RX 570 8GB or right around £400 with a 4GB RX 570; Gigabyte Gaming RX 570 4GB |

PCPartPicker Part List
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor (£44.00 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£41.98 @ Amazon UK) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (£58.00 @ Box Limited) Storage: PNY CS900 120 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£16.48 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Toshiba 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£59.99 @ AWD-IT) Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 570 8 GB Video Card (£114.99 @ Ebuyer) Case: AvP Hyperion EV33 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (£29.26 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: Corsair CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (£50.98 @ Amazon UK) Total: £415.68 similar to what is listed above. The 580 does outperform the 570 but for the resolution you're at the difference will not be super massive. I went with a quantity on the storage end, you could swap out for just an SSD and drop the price a little. |
