I've had this issue and seen a few people have it with zero support from Activision.
This is for the crossplay functionality and if you have one account (Xbox, PS, PC) linked to an account and the other on a different Call of Duty account clicking unlink doesn't work. Here is a solution a lot of people are missing or worried about clicking. *** Resolution *** Sign into one of your Activision accounts and head over to Profile Settings (s.activision.com/activision/profile). Once here click on Preferences and scroll to the bottom, you'll see Deactivate Activision Account - click this to delete your account. Note: Once deleted you will not be able to use that email again. i.e. you need to make a new Call of Duty account with a different email. Once your account is deleted it will automatically unlink all accounts, sign in or create your new account. You can now link the account to this one. I just did this with one account (Xbox) and was able to link to a new Call of Duty account (Blizzard). I can confirm it fully works. |
