I know the TN is a faster response time but it's only by 0.5ms plus I want a good picture aswell thats why I want to go for the ips even tho its abit more expensive

Pls no, don't buy that. £350 for a 1080p monitor is far too much. Also 1080p looks like shit on a 27" monitor.

Currys/PCWorld have the MSI Optix MAG271CQR for £350. If that's your budget, the MAG271CQR is definitely your best bet, hands down. It's a VA panel, but it's 1440p instead of 1080p. VA still has far better colours and viewing angles than TN anyway.

If you have a local Currys/PCWorld with a MAG271CQR in stock, they might even have one on display so you can kinda get an idea of how it'll look before you buy.

Considering it's 1+/- ms at 144hz. That's a pretty good monitor if your okay with 1080p. If a little expensive.
