Tekkonkinkreet and Ping Pong manga artist Taiyo Matsumoto drew the cover of the seventh One Piece Magazine volume, which will shipped on Friday. His illustration is part of the ongoing One Piece "Cover Comic Project", where various famous artists offer their own stylistic take on Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga.
The issue also has a 103-page feature on the One Piece Stampede film. It includes Oda's notes and sketches for the film's designs, as well as interviews with the film's guest cast members. It revealed visuals of the film's Bijo Bijo and Gasha Gasha fruits for the first time. The serialized novel One Piece novel LAW also concluded with this issue. One Piece Stampede opened in theaters in Japan on August 9, in celebration of the anime's 20th anniversary. |
