Lucasfilm announced on Wednesday that Hideo Itoyanagi is producing a new series of animated shorts for the Star Wars franchise titled Star Wars Roll Out. The series will premiere on the StarWarsKids.com website and the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel on Friday.
The series will portray the characters of the Star Wars franchise as BB ball-droid units similar to the character BB-8. Itoyanagi previously created a similar animated short that summarized the story of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film in 2017. |
