[font=Arial]Hi everyone!

so basically i have an old PC that really isn't suited for gaming and it just got real slow and laggy so ive decided to build a new PC!

this is my first PC that i am building so i am a bit nervous about the buildup. also im on a budget so my options are limited. ive put together a list for the parts im interested in but i need some advice on possible alternatives and stuff like which brand should i go for. im planning to go for an Intel build and this is my current parts list:

-MSI B360 Gaming Pro Carbon Intel 8th Gen Motherboard
-Intel - Core i5-9400F 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor
-GALAX - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB OC Video Card (i dont need to purchase GPU as i already have it however i may upgrade in the future)
-RAM: 8 GB (for the time being, will upgrade in the future however i need recommendation for which one to go for. Max ill spend on RAM is $75AUD.
- PSU: 500W? (again, not too sure bout how much watts i may need or which brand to go for)

this is about it. as for the rest of the componenets i can figure it out myself. so basically i just need advice on these four things: Motherboard, CPU, RAM and PSU. Also max i can spend on these items are roughly $550 - 600AUD.

Thanks a lot!! will greatly appreciate any recommendations for my build.

Don't buy anything now wait and see how these new ryzen chips preform. Also there are other cheaper options for better graphics cards than the 1050ti unless you want to go with nvidia for the drivers.

The CPU, Mobo, RAM, and GPU you are looking at are already $700AUD. So, if your budget is $600AUD, you're going to have to rethink everything. You're missing a case, which is important for compatibility reasons. You're missing storage as well.

What will you be using the system for?
What monitor(s) are you using?
What components do you already have, if any?
What are the specs of your old system?

Zen 2 isn't going to fit in to your budget anyway, so no point waiting for that really. I definitely would not be buying a 1050Ti, that's for sure. With $600AUD, I'd consider looking at the used market probably.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($134.00 @ Shopping Express)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450M Pro4-F Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($99.00 @ Umart)
Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($62.70 @ Newegg Australia)
Storage: Crucial - BX500 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($32.00 @ Shopping Express)
Video Card: Gigabyte - Radeon RX 570 4 GB Gaming 4G Video Card ($179.00 @ Umart)
Case: Deepcool - MATREXX 30 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($44.00 @ Skycomp Technology)
Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($63.00 @ Shopping Express)
Total: $613.70

well if nothing else dont you think that it would be good to wait as there will will be further price drops on current ryzen within the next few weeks which would give him more wiggle room for other pieces in the budget?

Thanks a lot for the recommendations mate.

as for the GPU ive mentioned that i already have a 1050 from before so im gonna use that for now and will probably upgrade in the near future so my budget of 560 - 600 dosent include the gpu. only the ram, psu, mboard, and processor.

also now im stuck between swithing to ryzen or just sticking with intel, then in that case im gonna have to change my motherboard . so i need some suggestions to do with this.

once again thanks for the support, really appreciate it.
