Hi. I have a prebuilt Acer Aspire GX 781 with i5 7400 3 Ghz, 1050 Ti, 16 Gb ram, power supply Liteon PS-7501 500W. I did a few upgrades already but now I'm not satisfied with the CPU so I'm planning on upgrading it. So my question is what CPU would you recommend me. My budget is about 200-250 (could be even more). And if I were to change the CPU by myself, what should I watch out for and some tips and tricks would be appreciated.

So the motherboard you have looks to be H110 which mean upgrade options are limited. They're no point putting a K series CPU inside when you can't overclock. You can however go for either i5 7600 or i7 7700 but going from a 7400 to 7600 is pointless and wont see much performance gains and a i7 7700 might be out of budget.

What is your currency as you have told us that?

Oh I forgot, the currency is in EUR but the amount was approximate, I can go over it. And I was looking at the i7 7700 and found two variants, 7700K and 7700. So my motherboard can take only the 7700 or even the K variant ?

It can take the K model with no problem. You just can't overclock the CPU which would make the K a pointless purchase.
