Every time I try to send a message on my xbox I get a error message that says" check your account, messaging is not working for your account, please go to support.xbox.com/fix-messaging to get more information on how you can fix it.

I have went to the page that it tells me to go to and all it says is to check my reputation( which is perfect) and to delete my profile off my xbox and download it again.

I have tried all the steps and I still can't send messages.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Is it just on the console or does it do the same thing when you use the xbox app?

I would try other methods to see if it's same across the board, as per the previous user post. If so, you probably have a comms ban which should show on enforcement.xbox.com

It's a new account tho and I have check my reputation and it's says I have no reports.
I have tried on the xbox app on my phone and computer and I get the same message.

Are you blocked for sending messages at all or is it in your privacy settings

Sign in at account.live.com/reputationcheck.

Add your phone number, then select Send code.
Get the code from the text message sent to your phone, enter it on the webpage, and select Submit.
If you're using your Xbox, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, then turn it on and sign back in.
If you're on a PC or mobile device, sign out of the Xbox app, then sign back in.
Try sending your message again.
