So a few of you know this, a few don't. I decided to do a major overhaul of my PC and this is the end result.

So my new current specs are as follows;
i7 5820K (soon to be overclocked)
MSI X99A SLI Plus
16GB Kingston Hyper X Fury
GTX 970 G1 Gaming
many drives
cx 600W (needs to go)

A few of you know that I've been doing PC hardware upgrade to my current rig for a few months. It started as an easy project, to upgrade till I can get 4k capability. So, with that in mind, I upgradeded my 4460 to a I7 4790K and added some Scythe AP-15 fans in there to cope with the extra heat.

I then upgraded to another 290 and painted it. About that time, it was time to retire my Fractal Design Newton 600w and get an EVGA 850W P2 in. Had to get platinum because everyone is getting the gold #Yolo.

To top it all off, I finished everthing off on Christmas Day by getting a nice Acer 4k Panel. It wasn't all smooth sailing though and it looks like neither of my 290's want to work at 4k so, after a month of hell, its being stripped out and getting another make-over asap.

But before then, here are some pictures of how it sits right now.

Oh, and I also added a Logitech G29 in the mix too.

Cya next time when more hardware get broken by me... https://www.thetechgame.com/images/chat/smiles/062.gif

I do plan to fix everything else. My main priority was to get 4k @ 60hz working and it is now working. I do plan to switch out the CPU cooler and maybe motherboard / case. We shall see what breaks first :thumbsup:

Well ,we all know you need to be an idiot to play CS:GO and it requires at least 11 working Haswell strength threads to even boot.
