G_Man wrote May as well just rename the thread "Chelsea football discussion", it's only Chelsea fans and mostly Chelsea related news/transfer rumours that get posted.

On another note, glad to see Ronaldo won the Ballon d'or. If he didn't win it'd have been a travesty. I don't care about the TOTY as it's always a farce.

I agree, we need some more football fans in here

Ronaldo was the best player of 2013 by a country mile, it would have been a joke if he didn't win it

Also great De Bruyne deal

Great business by Chelsea, made profit on De Bruyne who was only really an unnecessary squad player and brung in a brilliant midfield player. Although we got rid of him a few years back he was only a youngster now he's established himself as the best midfielder in the Portugal League. The man is a giant, just the player we need and a fully expect him to fit in straight away. Good for FFP aswell.

bought De Bruyne in for 8mil and sold him for 22mil, then spent the profit of that on bringing Matic back to the bridge.

Emanelo has his critics but that's an outstanding bit of business

I agree, 22m is a lot of money considering he's appeared in 3 PL games this season, I am sad however to see KDB go, I felt he will be one for the future but on the other hand Matic is going to be a fan favourite. He's just the player to fit in that midfield role, he has all attributes and is 6ft 4.

It really is fantastic business, I think Matic may be a player that will grow with his age and we haven't spent a penny. Although it hasn't been fully confirmed yet I expect a deal to be done before the clash with Man Utd.

Maybe Essien is on his way out?

Does anyone else think Iniesta and Xavi shouldn't have been in there?

One or the other but not both in my opinion. Fifa love Barca.

I'd expect so, he would be a decent replacement for holding midfield and RB but he's getting on now & we can have youth players for that & they would gain from the experience

We need to either loan Chalaboh out or play him more, he's definately one for the future however he's getting wasted in our reserves, hopefully a team like Palace or Fulham come in for a loan deal.

I agree, we have a lot of youth just sitting there doing nothing in our reserves

That would actually be good for both teams, your getting 2 brilliant players capable of helping you climb up the league and our youth are getting experience in one of the most difficult leagues in the world. Chalaboh already bossed last season at Watford.

You need to get on the phone to the Huddersfield CEO's

Get it sorted out then you will be the one going down in history when you get promoted to the PL

You can have Torres aswell if you like.
