If the Champions League and Europa League champions are from the same association ranked 1st3rd and neither qualify for the Champions League through their domestic competition, the fourth-placed team will qualify for the Europa League instead.

So if Chelsea and Utd win the CL and EL but both finish outside of the top 4, whoever finishes 4th will miss out on CL?

Yeah i get where you are coming from.

Chris smalling is going to get somewhere if he carries on. he is a great defender at the minute.
