Hey all,
In the US, manuals are a dying breed. Out of all my friends, I'm the only one who knows how to/drives a manual. My car is a 2013 VW Jetta Gli. If I'm not mistaken, the majority of cars in Europe are manuals and almost everyone drives them. Correct me if I'm wrong. For me, I'm not willing to buy another car unless it's a standard. Not ready to let it go. Unfortunately, in my case, a fair share of cars that are still standards cost more because it's a specialty. Interested to hear what you drive, if it's a manual, and if it's an auto, are you able to drive standard but choose not to? |

As a person who has always driven a car with a maunal transmission, I hate automatics (although I understand simplicity, convenience and comfort). I don't know, maybe I can't convince myself to it, possibly old habits don't change, especially those that de facto are with us half a lifetime. (It would be hard with the legs to switch and reduce the number of pedals, the legs go like an automatic ) |
