Hyper X Cloud II, had them for around 5 years. Mic quality is fantastic on Discord and can hear footsteps from a mile away on COD. What more do you want

I use CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB XT Wireless Dolby Atmos Gaming Headset and I absolutely love them!! Great Quality sounding and good for voice. I do have to say though. I did get recommendations from a couple of friends and they have both decided to scrap the built in mic and use a desk mounted mic but i believe that was out of presence for themselves.

As an update, I've switched to a different pair of IEMs. The IEMs I originally linked sounded extremely nice, but for my ear personally, the units were a little too big. Ended up venturing into some Sennheiser IE300 and I love them. They're physically smaller, but have some really good sound.

Additionally, I purchased an aftermarket cable from Null Audio which sounds amazing.

I also moved to plugging my headphones directly into the HyperX Quadcast mic that I have, since it has the live mic monitoring capability, and I've seem to grow to love that. To make up for the Amp qualities I'm now missing, I dove into using the Peace Equalizer APO software to adjust EQs.

I would whole-heartedly suggest using Equalizer APO, which I linked, for any custom equalizing you would want to do. I'll have to dig, but I found the EQ specifically for my headphones which balances out all sounds, for a nice starting point. The list I found contains hundreds of EQs for many different headphones, scientifically procured. I'll try finding it again.

I use Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (80 OHM) with a Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 audio interface currently and I don't have any complaints. The headphones feel great on my head and sometimes I even forget that I am wearing them. The interface that I have is very basic but I don't need anything fancy and I haven't had a single issue with it.

I originally bought the interface to use with my Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone since the version that I bought has an XLR connector and uses phantom power to power the microphone.

I use the HyperX Cloud II, I had a lot of headphones over the years, this is without a doubt my favorite.

Ever since I got open back headphones I've never looked back. Everything else always sounds muffled, over boosted, and endless tinny sound. Getting open back headphones, you feel way more of the sound and can really pinpoint locations. Mix it with a good DAC or Mixer and you can customize your sound to the exact where you want it. Personally I use a mixer so I have the ability to turn up the exact sound for footsteps and gunfire. Messes with voices a good bit, but it's worth the sacrifice in games I love like DayZ, ARMA, EFT, etc. And music... I'm the type to blast their headphones until the ears bleed. And I love metal and punk rock.

changed through a few over the years but for daily, virtuoso XT. Good enough battery life, swap the cups out for some half to inch thick pads and they go a long way. Home i prefer using some older AKG gear i have with a decent DAC.

I mean they're okay but I'm actively looking for a new pair (UK), anyone got suggestions of really good sound in cod and other fps's? while having a good clear sounding mic
