Most artists I've gone to or know, charge by the hour. Some times I wish I charged by the hour more frequently, most of the times people don't want to pay more than $5. It's understandable for a little pic on a site however it is our time. I personally value it. So the same goes for tattooing however, they've set the standard. We got dudes trying to make a name for themselves dcing it for free. You'd never go to a free tattoo artist.

I wouldn't get a free one hell no. If it was like for an event and it was a crazy good or famous artist I would then. But no soo many people around me try and do tats for like 50-100$ lol for anything and that'll tell you they just want quick money and don't know what they are doing they just buy a tattoo gun off of Amazon or eBay and they think they can tat smh. I real tattoo artists def. Deserve the money they're good and take their time and deserve to be paid for their time AND tipped. I just would want really nice pieces and I can't afford that stuff rn I'm my life. It would be nice though !

My lower arm on my right side is done, got wings on my upper arms, lips on my V spot, crown on my neck and a mandala on the lower left arm, oppisite of forearm

Yeah my left arm i'm doing more like graffiti style with just putting things I like, think are cool.
My right arm is going to have the more meaningful tattoos lol.
