I was curious if it is worth going back to destiny 2.
I played when It first came out and played for awhile, have 2 hunters and a warlock. Anyways, I was wondering if it is worth playing especially since I have no friends who play and am hesitate if I should even buy the lightfall dlc. I would love to play again if I had a group of people, and also someone to guide me in the right path. I played trials, did all the raids (witch queen...etc), and nightfalls. I've never played Destiny but there was recently a massive update (Lightfall) which I believe breathed a lot of new life into the game.
Looks like there's some news about it today actually. |

I returned after a 2 year break when lightfall dropped. I've been loving it. Catching up with all the content I missed + all the stuff that just dropped has been great.
TTG isn't a Destiny 2 community, that's why you aren't getting responses. |

Not dead at all - Just not many who play on here AFAIK.
Lightfall was a great expansion and strand is pretty fun to use on all 3 classes. Not sure when you played last but there are some fun dungeons / raids out there you can do once you get a decent idea of how the game is now. I'd start out by grinding the campaigns you buy and then do strikes / nightfalls for some better gear as well. Plenty of modes out there including PvP so find what you like but they all have different rewards. |

| I actually game back on lightfall release as my friends were getting it and figured id get it too. Its been alot of fun and taking s huge break means there's a whole bunch of new content too (Well old for most but new to me like the raids and dungeons) so I'd say yeah it's a pretty good time to return |

| Okay quite regularly again after skipping most of last season, defo a game worth playing if you have a group to play with so if you leave your bungie name then I don't mind adding you and playing alongside you |

I have 4300+ hours into the game and still continue to play it daily -- so yea, the game's a me'h.
If you're wondering if Lightfall's good and should try it out, id say 50 / 50. The story was a bombshell that just left more questions than answers ( usual Bungie ); but the new strand class ability was a game changer when it comes to movement and endgame strategy. The new raid is super easy as well, to put it into context, the world first completed it 2 hours after going live! Tons of new weapons, exotics, armor fashion and changes, user interface changes, Guardian ranks; a new way to show your progression in the game, new dungeons and raids, community events, and much more. Friends aren't necessary to enjoy or play the game either, LFG is usually a go-to if you need help or want to raid / hard endgame content. And no, the game isn't dead... picture of me in the VoW raid!
