You should take comfort in knowing he knew you were with him in his last moments. I went through the same thing a few years back, and I'm glad I did. I'm happy he went to sleep in my arms instead of scared and alone while I was out or at work, you got to say goodbye to your best friend and that's something special. |

I understand what you're going through man. Earlier this year in May we had to put my dog down because his kidneys were failing and he was miserable.
I miss him every day, and anyone who can just get a new dog right after losing theirs is a clown. Sorry for your loss and it gets better, I promise! |
