| my buddy used to use aimbot / walls on his old pc since Cold War came out he never got in trouble because he kept it on the low but He swapped to a ps5 and sold his pc but linked that account he was cheating on. he was playing on Cold War on ps5 for about two months and got banned. Is there anyway to fix this? Maybe deleting his account???? And making Anew with ps plus ? Or can he just make a new account and use that old account as a home account and use ps plus and Cold War off it ? |

Shadow bans can occur when loading Activision profiles onto new platforms. But if he has been cheating he's probably been banned from the ban wave, which recently some about. They are targeting cheaters who are repeatedly cheating in there games.
There won't be any way to fix an Activision ban. I highly doubjt his PlayStation network account has been banned for this, probably his Activision account only. If he cannot sign into PlayStation network it's a PSN ban. If he can and can't play cod it's a Activision account ban. Activision account bans speak for themselves. Shadow bans can usually go away on there own after some time, well they did on MW if you didn't cheat. Best of luck. Edit: for him to play he must sign into the cod website, and unlink the psn account from the Activision account then link a new Activision account to the psn account. |
