Hello everyone, I hope you are well.

Here is the problem:

I already have all the components to put together a computer, this is my first time doing this.
I plan to buy an OEM license but I think for that I first have to install Windows via USB stick.
At home there is an HP all-in-one computer (it is not mine) and a few months ago it was taken away to install all the office apps in a not very legal way
If I use this computer to create an installation device will I run the risk of infecting my new computer with some virus, malware or spyware? This has me a little paranoid.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

The main risk would be, say for example, if someone managed to tamper with the ISO file that you're downloading from Micorosoft that your using on your USB stick. Because you're doing a fresh install of Windows onto a completely different machine, the likely hood of you installing malware is sub 1% unless it's a very targeted attack.

I personally wouldn't worry pal, you should be good to download the ISO onto that PC and make the USB up.
