So I am looking to rebuild my PC. I am getting crazy bottle necking from my current CPU and MOBO (i5 6600k & z170 Kraft gaming) 3080 doesn't like it at all. Wanted additional advice on this build I'm currently looking at building.

Truthfully trying to to stay Corsair if I can because I would like to have a full RGB Rig if possible just because I like it lol.

PS I have the rest like storage PSU that's kind of stuff

New Ryzen 5 or 7 would suffice

So, what is the make and model of your PSU then?
What monitor(s) are you actually using with the system?
In what exactly is your 6600k bottlenecking your RTX 3080?

at the moment only running 1080 plan on upgrading to 2k in the future hop into a game and I getting 80frames in warzone with the 3080 on medium settings. So I am assuming that it's the mobo and the cpu.

Current psu is a 850

I would definitely upgrade monitor asap, especially with an RTX 3080.

Run something like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner overlay to see utilisation of your CPU in game. I would make sure the CPU is your bottleneck before spending the money. I would have thought a 6600k wouldn't bottleneck you that badly, but if you monitor it and the CPU is pinned at 100%, then it's safe to say that's your issue.

850 what? What is the make and model?
