I need a new desk as my current one is very old and has scratches and marks so looking for a new one.

My current desk is black so i was going to stick with that colour but i cannot seem to get a full matching desk setup.

I would be getting the parts from IKEA and builing myself.

This is what i was looking to get:

My plan was to use the drawers for storage etc and use the cabinet to put my PC and PS4 into to hide and make it look cleaner. The only problem is that you cant get the Alex Storage unit in black so i would either have to get all white, But my bed is black and my Bedside tables are black too, So wouldnt want to have the room look funny. Would the two white units and a black table top look okay? Or would it look out of place. Thanks.

It'll be alright with the proper support(after all you're getting what you paid for). I had the same top before switching to a more premium cut(heavy bowing under load of 3 monitors, could solve by spacing out my vesa arms but then it was just and even bowing not centered).

The only thing i would have on my desk would be a Monitor which is supported by a mount, Then just a keyboard, mouse and speakers.
