After the latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC overnight, data miners on r/ModernWarfare have found in the game files artwork for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
This is the latest reference and hint to a Campaign Remastered happening. The rumors have been around since 2018, with CharlieIntel first to report that the remaster would be campaign only in March 2018. Since then, both EU ratings board PEGI and South Korea ratings board have rated 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered,' but Activision has yet to officially announce it.
