Hey folks,
Looking to get some updated opinions on the matter. I'm looking for a rig will be good for editing audio and video (Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere), and also keep me up to date with gaming trends for the next few years. I posted a year back and got a few like this as recommendations: [Minimum post requirement for links] - but I'm wondering if any of these parts are out of date/there's a better price on comparable parts. I'm not sure if motherboards typically come with firewire these days or if that's becoming outdated, but firewire compatibility may be a plus My budget is around $2,500, I'll be needing all the typical peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse), and I'm currently editing a lot in 1080p but would like the possibility for 4k. Also, any tips on guides for how to learn more on building a PC would be much appreciated. |
