Wrxith wrote Everything is plugged in correctly, I have Arctic MX4 applied with the RGB Wraith Cooler. Everything works fine with my R3 but not with the R7. I didn't clear CMOS when I changed CPUs last time so maybe it's getting underpowered or something?

This makes sense to me - It could be as simple as poor memory settings with the CPU since I noticed you had your RAM overclocked [right] to 3200??

If so, bring it back down to 2333 and see if it crashes then or better yet, do a restore default values on your BIOS and check to make sure everything is fine with your Ryzen 7 CPU.

You might even want to do a cheeky BIOS update with your Ryzen 3 CPU still in the board so it doesn't crash out.

What I would do if I were you would be to buy another 2700x new, if you can, from an online store, and use that to test to see if it's the CPU or not. It's hard to test hardware components individually without having spares lying around and without them, you're somewhat shooting in the dark.

Ok so I have updated my BIOS from 4.50 to 6.90 I believe it is and I also cleared CMOS before switching CPU and so far everything looks fine. I have rebooted my PC a few times to see if I still get display as when I did that last time I lost it. I will keep an eye on temps etc to see if anything foes wrong. I will update this post in a few days and let you guys know the result and if it is actually fully functional. Thanks for the help

Was probably a setting in BIOS from when you had the R3 2200G, so clearing CMOS will have solved the issue. No harm in updating the BIOS anyway though.

Make sure to test/benchmark now with the R7 2700x just to make sure it's not getting too warm, and that it's hitting the right clock speeds.
