Variable refresh rate is definitely a massive bonus for the console which can help mitigate the feeling of lag.

Hopefully it's not a let down and its price point is affordable.

Halo releases along side the console, so Holiday 2020 is the release date for that also.

I feel this is the moment that people who are competitive gamers, are going to need to start switching out their TVs for monitors, because not too many TVs support that high of a refresh rate and you'll probably be able to get a 1080p monitor @120 Hz cheaper than most TVs with that refresh rate. Upscale 8k is a scary area because I'm going to assume the console outputs native 1080p, 1440p and maybeeeeeeeee native 4k at a lower refresh rate, but then upscaling it to 8k, I just think might really be an eyesore on some things from the stretching, but, that just means they're having some beefy ass graphics card/processor in their console and that's always a plus. It also then lets everyone get to play how they want, no matter how niche it is with 8k.

I don't think the price point is going to be too much -- at least too ridiculous for what it looks to be bringing. They've gone over to AMD CPUs and AMD has been killing it lately with their price point and overall performance, which I think was a very smart move by Xbox. SSDs might be the price increase people probably don't want to pay a stupid high premium for, but I hope they keep that reasonable since SSDs are becoming the new staple for anything at this point.

I'm going to call it really early, but I think Microsoft has taken this conference and walked away with THE win. I am a huge PC fanboy, I gave it to Nintendo last year because of the hype they had for all their new games, but Microsoft just killed it today. Xbox Pass for PC gamers at a fantastic price point, a new controller (that I'm salty that I didn't wait just a little longer,) working with multiple corporations, reviving older game series to bring them anew, a new console that right now, is looking like it will compete with a mid-"low"high tier computer build, tons of games, both indie and established studios, they just have so much going for them. It's going to be hard for the next conferences to beat Microsoft, but if Microsoft started this E3 (EA was a flop, let's admit that and consider Microsoft the true start to it) I have high expectations for everyone else and I'm really looking to see what Square Enix and Nintendo has in store.

I have to agree with Xbox game pass far surpassing anything that is out there, also nice to know that we get it on PC as well. Cyberpunk was amazing, and Sony is probably loosing it lol

The Ori game didn't look interesting to me, but it's on the game pass at launch and I'll be sure to check it out, and not only that but Minecraft Dungeons will also be on on GamePass at launch and it actually looks awesome!

I thought they would have opened with Halo as well. They started the best for last.

Microsoft announced they wanted to expand to PC and not try to keep everything as an exclusive -- they want to send it to other distributions so people can choose. So I'm sure it's coming to the Xbox Store maybe first and then going around to Steam, Epic, maybe even Uplay, Origin but I feel like it's mostly going to be Steam and Epic getting those games.

For people who also enjoy PC and switching off and on is a good idea. Or some people just prefer PC all the way. I feel like as well it will be Steam first.

There's FINALLY a release date. The most anticipated game for years finally has a release date.

Blair Witch gave me really similar Outlast vibes, which was one of the best First Person horror's that released back in 2013, hopefully it can live up to that level of quality.

I'm excited to own Cyberpunk. It's different. And April like spring basically a good time to release.

Halo. Not much explanation needed. I'm super stoked to try both, but Halo has this way of winning over any other game on the market for me. Cyber punk kind of reminds of watch dogs for some reason, regardless Halo is for sure my choice, hands down.
