The Giants and Blue Jays have announced a trade that will send outfielder Kevin Pillar to San Francisco. Toronto will pick up righty Derek Law, recently designated infielder Alen Hanson, and righty Juan De Paula. https://gyazo.com/d1a9f838e6a1af8454755ba20ab921e8.png As a Giants fan, I'm pretty hyped on this acquisition, we badly needed a veteran in the outfield. Though he may struggle in the offensive side of things, he is an absolute beast in the outfield. Do you need some sort of proof? The man is an outfield legend, someone I would look up to if I was a kid in the outfield still I think the Giants made the right call letting go Law and Hanson, but I'm sad we won't be able to see De Paula in a Giants uniform, I feel like in the coming years we may regret that. The Giants are in a real struggle so far, already in last place in their division with a 2-5 record. Hopefully we see some decent trades like this in the near future, cause God knows we need it! https://gyazo.com/76fb5cb739388553b58696ee4fedff1d.png source |

Not only did he hit a grand slam, he was the first giant in 17 seasons, since Barry Bonds, to have back to back 4 RBI games. Glad to see he's already putting in work for us! |
