Hello ! So I'm looking to build something thats more of gaming/ streaming type of build. I also do Video editing for work so that would be a plus. this is what i got so far.

**Case: ROSEWILL ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case

**PSU: Corsair CX 650M

SSD: (not sure I would need one)

HDD: Basic 1TB

RAM: G.SKILL Aegis 8GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400

**MB: MSI MPG Z390 Intel MotherBoard Gaming Plus

CPU: i5 9600K
CPU Fan: be quiet! Dark Rock 4

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

Now I just want to be sure that I'm doing this right or i should get something different? the "**" indicates I have it already and I don't want to completely finish buying everything until i know for sure its a okay

Should probably return the motherboard. Intel, especially an i5, definitely is not your best option considering your use case.

There's plenty of different Rosewill cases, so would be useful to know which specific case you have for compatibility.

8GB RAM with a system like this is a bit out of place, again, especially considering what you'll be using the system for.

You don't necessarily "need" an SSD. However, there is no reason not have an SSD, and you should absolutely be getting one.

If you want help with a parts list, you need to give us a budget and currency, as well as more information.
What monitor(s) are you using?
What games will you be playing?
What programs will you be using for editing, and what kind of editing(4k movies, or short 1080p stuff)?

My budget would be about $600 or $700
Monitor just really depends on my tower
Games i would play would be
-League of legends (ik its not worth mentioning since it has a super low minimum)
-Counter strike
-fortnite (go figure)
-Apex legends
-ark survival
And pretty much first person shooter games
Editing would be basic windows or vegas
And it would be max at 1080p

Also I want to thank you in advance, had my laptop for over 3 years and its just not working out, mostly when its a i3

Do you have a monitor already or do you need one and would it be included with your budget? Also, do you already have a keyboard and mouse? On top of that, do you need windows 10?
