I know nothing about PCs at all.

So, I put some stuff together that seemed nice. I'm just looking to have a setup that can run games and allow me to do my work (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). I'm only trying to get one monitor, I am not trying to run both things at once. I just want a computer that can handle gaming and graphic designing.

Any advice on better parts? Or does what I have seem fine?

Everything on there is brand new, except I already own the CPU cooler.

Dont forget the SSD!! They are pretty cheap right now and if you are really tight on money get a 250gb at least but if you can invest more go 500gb.

None of those parts are "new", and they definitely don't make sense. The i5-3570 is 7 generations old now(albeit Intel generations).

What is your budget and currency?
What games will you be playing?
When will you be buying the system? Anything beyond a week or 2 and any parts list we suggest could be useless.
Looks like you need a monitor- what about keyboard, mouse, etc?

- I will just be playing Fortnite, really.
- I'm not buying a PC any time soon, I have plenty of time.
- I already have a keyboard, mouse, headset, and a CPU cooler.
- And I just want to have a monitor with 144hz

Okay. Well like 21 said those parts aren't very up to date at all and wouldn't do you very much damage at all especially with the budget you have. I would recommend watching some you tube videos on 2019 builds to find the bang for your buck.

With a $1250 budget, you shouldn't be getting a 1080p monitor, especially if you're just playing Fortnite.

Much better monitor with a 1440p VA panel instead of 1080p TN. This Samsung monitor doesn't have Freesync but there are similarly priced alternatives that do, if you want. Pixio PX276/PX277, Viotek GN27D and Nixeus NX-EDG27 off the top of my head. I'd take the knock on GPU from RTX 2060 down to GTX 1660Ti to be able to fit the better monitor within budget. However, the MSI Ventus RTX 2060 is $360, which would put you right on your $1250 budget. You'll probably want to add whatever capacity HDD you require pretty soon, if not immediately.

If you want to use your 212 EVO with AM4, you will need to get an AM4 mounting bracket for the cooler since they didn't ship with one in the box. You might have to contact Cooler Master and have them send you one, or purchase one- Newegg seem to be pretty good in the US for having stuff like that so I'd probably check there. Or you could just use the included cooler with the R5 2600.

Also, like I said, if you're not buying a system any time soon, then most or potentially all of these parts could make no sense by the time you're ready to purchase everything.
