GeneralCareful when gifting a yearly subscription to humble bundle

| Making the post as a PSA kind of, I guess. my wife bought me a yearly subscription to humble bundle monthly, they had deal going where when you buy a years subscription, you get a 40 dollar wallet credit for the humble store. Now in order for your account to be eligible, your account has to have never purchased a yearly subscription. [Minimum post requirement for links] [Minimum post requirement for links] [Minimum post requirement for links] Both my humble account and my wife's ( which she created only to make and gift the purchase from) where both eligible. Well long story short if you purchase the yearly subscription as a gift you are no longer eligible for the 40 dollar credit. Anyway this just left me with a bad taste in my mouth, after going through about 3 emails with customer service to find out. Wish I would've known before hand as I would've just redeemed the yearly subscription under my wife's account that she just created to make the purchase. Sorry for the log post, but I was quite disappointed in their customer service. |
