For MW3? Not used it in a while, but i believe you force host/force start game, as the countdown in game starts that is when you hit the XP lobby button. Will do some testing in a bit and get back to you if you can't get it working

We are aware that force host doesn't work, but you can still force start a game to give yourself host

XP lobby works in private match, just make sure you host migrate it for the XP to stick.

Just force host, force start then you'll be in your own lobby online that'll save you do any other additional steps.
