Glad to see USA go out. Belgium were the better team and I'm really glad to see them go through. Saying that USA were very resilient and had a fantastic attitude even knowing they lacked quality in certain areas. What an amazing game of football though everyone should be proud. This is what football is about and this is why it's the greatest sport ever.

Just glad we actually made it out of group play unlike some others.

Please never call it "group play" again. It's just called the groups. Americans!

I know.
Those pesky Americans.

We don't know anything about soccer but we still make it farther than you.

At the end of the day, I thought it was a good game.
Both teams did great.

This world cup was actually my first time ever watching soccer.
I just like rooting for whatever my country is playing in.

Definitely the best world cup out of the ones i've seen, this is 50x better than the 2010 one which wasn't great, and i heard this world cup has had the most goals in it since the 1954 world cup i think.

2 things:

1. It's Football

2. "Make it further than you". Who am I?

It looks like quite a few places actually call it soccer. Including pre-1970 England.
cs.utexas.edu/~pstone/why.html

Szymanski wrote Im English, and Im in my 50s, and I remember, as a kid, soccer being a perfectly acceptable word in the U.K., without being this big no-no Americanism that its become, Szymanski said in an interview. There are so many people who seem to be totally ignorant, as if this is entirely an American invention, and so I was keen to set the record straight.

'Arturo Vidal is keen on linking up with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United amid talk of a 30m bid.'

Not sure if true though.
